Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes’ housemate, Queen Mercy Atang is still basking in the euphoria of her wedding to David Oyekanmi.

Taking to her Instagram story, the reality star who is still sharing photos and clips from the beautiful ceremony, revealed what her father-in-law told her.

According to her, he said as her first daughter-in-law he has given her the right to approve her brother-in-law’s wives-to-be. Expressing joy at God’s mercy, she told ladies crushing on her brothers-in-law to send their CVs.

“My father-in-law said, as the first daughter-in-law I have the right to approve my brother-in-law’s wives to be. Loon at God. Oya send in your CV ooh”.




During her Civil wedding dinner, Queen revealed that she asked God for three signs before agreeing to marry her husband.

She stated that ever since David came into her life, her life has been amazing as he has made her happiness his priority. She further stated that he has brought her peace, happiness, and joy.

Queen noted how her husband queried her over her body size, saying she was getting fat, meanwhile, her fatness is due to the happiness she has received from him.

The journey to forever began when Queen announced her engagement to David Oyekanmi in February. Her baby daddy, Lord Lamba tried sabotaging her happiness but the reality star didn’t give him room to make her unhappy.

Last week, the couple held their wedding introduction in Queen’s hometown in Akwa Ibom, which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Nini Singh. Following the wedding introduction, Queen bragged about her bride price being paid in full, as she officially changed her name to Mrs Queen Oyekanmi Adedeji.

On Saturday, March 17th, the reality star and her man, David legally tied the knot. The civil wedding was held at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance.

Their civil wedding was followed by a wedding dinner which had some of Queen’s colleagues in attendance. The likes of Erica Nlewedim, Bambam, Arin, Boma Akpore, Chizzy, Bryan, Saskay, Angel Smith, Saga, and a host of others graced the occasion all dressed in white, which was the theme of the night.

Before their wedding, Queen had met with her in-laws. First, she met with her mother-in-law, and her fiance shared the heart-melting clip on his Instagram story, where Queen was seen smiling as she met his mother, who hugged her tightly. Days later, Queen met her father-in-law, as she was captured in a video posted by a close friend of the couple, exchanging pleasantries with him.
