Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has sparked conversations online after accusing fellow actor Zubby Michael and others in the movie industry of allegedly using the title of her forthcoming movie, Queen of Guns, for another production.
The actress made the allegation in a video shared on her social media pages, where she expressed disappointment over what she described as an attempt to undermine a project she has spent years developing.
According to Angela Okorie, she recently discovered that an older movie had been uploaded to YouTube bearing the title Queen of Guns. Angela further claimed that she invested close to ₦100 million in producing the movie, describing it as one of her biggest projects to date. She also revealed that the title had already been trademarked, saying the legal protection was necessary to safeguard the brand and identity of the film.
