The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a fresh advisory to prospective corps members ahead of the upcoming orientation exercise, urging them to prioritise their safety and ensure all required documents are accurate before reporting to camp.

In a statement shared via its official X account on Monday, the scheme advised prospective corps members to avoid travelling at night, stressing that the precaution is aimed at ensuring their safety while heading to their assigned orientation camps.

The NYSC also reminded candidates to carefully verify their documents before departure, warning that anyone whose graduation date on their call-up letter does not match the date on their statement of result will not be allowed to complete registration at the orientation camp.

The scheme urged all prospective corps members to check their credentials thoroughly and comply with all registration requirements to avoid unnecessary delays or disqualification during the registration process.
